James finally earned his arrow of light for Cub Scouts!  

Basketball

James and Wes played on the same basketball team this year through the PG rec center.  Steve was the head coach and he made Matt his assistant coach.  I think they had fun and the boys learned a lot.

Val's Funeral

Val finally passed away 😢 He bounced back and forth there for awhile, and around Christmas time I thought he might make it after all, but he took another bad turn and just couldn't fight anymore.  He had a beautiful funeral. His family did a great job and he would have been proud of them.   

Family Dinner

We went to dinner with these clowns...and their parents and Grandma & Grandpa 😀

James's 11th Birthday

James turned 11 this year!  We had our usual family parties for him, and the Steve & I gave him a rc car.  But not a normal rc car...a super hooty rc car (that was very expensive and I was against because I know he'll only play with it twice before it get put on the shelf 😩) James was very excited to get it so that's all that matters.

Webelos

James completed his Webelos rank in Cub Scouts!  Along with several other awards it seems ✌ Go James!

Valentine's Day

Steve took me to Sundance for dinner tonight for Valentine's Day.  The Tree Room is our favorite spot, and a really nice memory from our honeymoon.  I sure lucked out marrying this guy 💓

Aquarium Day

We got to go to the aquarium tonight with our realtor Jeanette.  As a thank you to their clients, their real estate company rented out the whole aquarium!  It was a fun night...even though the animals were asleep!

Sledding!

Of course we had to get in some sledding fun!  We went to our usual spot at Traverse Mountain with Matt and his family.  Although the weather was AWFUL and we turned into popsicles, it was still fun.

Snow Fun

We started James on a snowboard this year!  We figure that might be something his friends might be into when he gets older, rather than skiing???

More Kitty

We decided to name this cat Drifter, because he just kind of wandered around until he decided to make our home his home...but we actually call him Meowzer so????  He's a cat so it doesn't really matter 😂LOL

He sees us pull in the driveway and comes running down the street to great us...so cute 😸

Jazz Game

We got tickets to a Jazz game for James for Christmas.  He's not a big Jazz fan, but they were playing against the Golden State Warriors and he is a big fan of them! 

James did get to meet an old Jazz player, Thurl Bailey, through the Junior Jazz basketball league.  He thought that was pretty neat.
