Cruising!

We got to go on a cruise! We decided to cruise down to Mexico with our best friends/family members/business partners :)  We spent a day in Catalina and a day in Ensenada, and then on the drive back home we stopped in Vegas for a show!  We even took the kiddo-s along too. Memorial Day Weekend

For the Memorial Day holiday, we drove up to the Portage cemetery with my family to clean off my grandparent's headstones. My mom said that it was always important to my grandparents to pay their respects every year and they would really appreciate the same. So we piled in my dad's truck and made the trek up there. It's a beautiful cemetery that I love visiting.

REAL

We got to go to see our first professional soccer game! We made sure to memorize their team chant beforehand so we could yell and sing along with the crowd :) It was much more exciting than we thought it would be, and now we're big fans. Go REAL Salt Lake!

Birth Mother's Walk

We went to the annual birth mother's day walk today.  This is the day that we celebrate our wonderful birth moms by walking around the track in their honor and then releasing balloons into the sky.  So many balloons flying together looks REALLY awesome!  The birth moms get flowers, and there are games and things for the kids.  It's just a simple way that we can show our love and respect to the person who gave us the world.  This year was extra special for us because it's the first year that James's birth mom has lived close enough to come!  I know I say this a lot on our blog but we love Rose so much, so much more than words could ever describe.

Sunday Dinner

We had Rose, Blash & Kayla over for dinner for Sunday dinner. After dinner we went to the park where we played on the playground and shot each other with James's marshmallow shooters :)  It was a fun (and pleasantly warm) day!

Finally Finished Moving!

It took almost a full month to move the business to it's new location, but we did it! Or I should say Steve did it.  Working 18 hour days (sometimes through the night) we are FINALLY settled in. (Steve even put in a pool table, basketball hoop, and a fridge full of Shasta for James.) I am so grateful for such a hard-working husband who would do anything for his family. Love you babe!

Cub Scouts

We did some fun things this month in Cub Scouts. We went on a field trip to Wild Wonders where the boys got to see lots of wild animals, and they even got to feed a raccoon!

And then later in the month the boys earner their nutrition belt loops. This was James's first belt loop so he was pretty excited about it ;)

Spa Date!

I went and got my toes painted with my good friend (and James's birth mom), Rose.  Spring is just around the corner so we decided that we'd better get ready for sandal season :)

It's Great to be 8!

James got baptized! We had a wonderful day with lots of family and friends there to support James, and Steve did such a wonderful job with both the baptism and confirmation. We invited everyone to our house afterwards for a little luncheon. It was a very special day. And the best part was that we finally got to introduce Rose and her family to both my family and Steve's family!  It was so awesome to finally bring all of us together, to give our families the opportunity to get to know each other, and to show off to everyone how our awesome birth mom Rose is!
