Memorial Day Weekend

For the Memorial Day holiday, we drove up to the Portage cemetery with my family to clean off my grandparent's headstones. My mom said that it was always important to my grandparents to pay their respects every year and they would really appreciate the same. So we piled in my dad's truck and made the trek up there. It's a beautiful cemetery that I love visiting.

We got to go to see our first professional soccer game! We made sure to memorize their team chant beforehand so we could yell and sing along with the crowd :) It was much more exciting than we thought it would be, and now we're big fans. Go REAL Salt Lake!

Birth Mother's Walk

We went to the annual birth mother's day walk today.  This is the day that we celebrate our wonderful birth moms by walking around the track in their honor and then releasing balloons into the sky.  So many balloons flying together looks REALLY awesome!  The birth moms get flowers, and there are games and things for the kids.  It's just a simple way that we can show our love and respect to the person who gave us the world.  This year was extra special for us because it's the first year that James's birth mom has lived close enough to come!  I know I say this a lot on our blog but we love Rose so much, so much more than words could ever describe.
